The New 2 You Bookstore is a used bookstore serving the residents of the Battlefords and surrounding area. We run completely on donated books, CDs, and DVDs selling them for a minimal cost of $1.00 per book for youth, adult, fiction and non-fictions, and 25¢ for children’s books.
The only books we do not accept are Encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest Condensed books, and textbooks. We only accept books that aren’t water damaged, musty, dirty, or ripped.

BTEC uses the money from the bookstore to enrich the lives of our participants with extra programming that gives them a choice. This includes hiring a petting zoo to come to BTEC, renting out the movie theatre so our participants could have a cinema experience that many of them have never had, taking them out for meals, and sometimes bringing meals in. The funds are also used for purchasing furnishings for our patio, and plants for our garden boxes. We also throw Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, and Halloween Parties. Our participants get to celebrate special occasions with gifts for Christmas and cakes for birthdays. Our bookstore has also given us the ability to hire entertainers to come in and do concerts and shows. If we can dream it, we can do it, with the help of proceeds from the bookstore.
